The samples analyzed for the radiocarbon and stable carbon isotopes of total aerosol organic carbon (TOC), were collected simultaneously from an urban location (Hisar (HSR): 29.2°N, 75.7°E, ~ 213 m.a.s.l.) and a high altitude site (Manora Peak (MNP): 29.4°N, 79.5°E; ~1950 m.a.s.l.) in the Indo-Gangetic Plain, a hot spot region of Carbonaceous aerosol emissions in South Asia.
