RA7 – landscape processes and climate opens a call for applications of the 2021 seed money
In this call we support small projects within the research scope of RA7. We have four sub-focal areas that link together:
- biotic/abiotic processes
- effects of human utilization on ecosystems
- adaptations to meet environmental changes
- effects of the adaptations to environmental change
The joint study of climate and land-use is the core in our RA. We encourage collaboration among researchers within RA7 and among researchers from other RAs at the Bolin centre. In this call we can support for example workshops, pilot projects, equipment, field work, conferences etc.
Evaluation of applications will be based on scientific quality, relevance to the scope of RA7 and potential for the activities to lead to future collaborations.
Available funding: 400 000 SEK. We will support funding up to a maximum of 50 000 SEK (note that it is 20% OH on salary). However this year funding can be increased up to a maximum of 100 000 SEK for innovative projects including collaborations. Funds not utilized for financing activities before December 31, 2021 shall be repaid to Bolin Center.
Eligible applicants: main applicant should be a member of RA7 and be employees at SU, KTH or SMHI.
The application should consist of:
1) One page describing the project as well as a motivation of how the project contribute to the aims of RA7
2) A CV of main applicant (max 2 pages including information about the current employment)
3) Publication list of main applicant
