Gustaf Hugelius is lead author for a new report titled Resilience and Management of Arctic Wetlands. It was released in May to the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Arctic States.

The report focuses on the global importance of the wetlands of Arctic and provides policy recommendations concerning how these regions ought to be managed in the future.

Effective management of wetlands, including conservation and restoration efforts, holds enormous potential to contribute significantly to climate adaptation and mitigation, and conservation of biodiversity.
