The Foundation supports research, technical development and business ideas that promote a sustainable use of natural resources and conservation of biodiversity.
Agnes Karlson is a postdoc at the Department of Environmental Science and Analytical Chemistry (ACES), and is part of the university's strategic research programme Baltic Ecosystem Adaptive Management (BEAM).
- I am, of course, very pleased to have received this grant. It will enable me to carry out an important component of my research, says Agnes Karlsson in an interview with communications officer Stella Papadopoulou at ACES.
Results from this project will potentially help assess the health of the Baltic Sea and contribute to a better and effective management of this important resource.
The award ceremony took place on 7 May at the Royal Palace in central Stockholm.
