(2019) The dataset includes: 1) Plant species climate optima for three variables and three scales, 2) plant species abundances in 49 plots of 25 x 25 m in a focal landscape in central Sweden, 3) R-code files. Data are provided in comma-separated value (.csv) files. </p> <p> 1) One file containing climatic optima for growing degree days (GDD), maximum temperature (Tmax) and minimum temperature (Tmin) of the 146 vascular plants (labeled 'V') and bryophytes ('B') that were included in the optima analyses. These climatic optima are presented for landscape scale (column header ending ‘lands’), national scale (‘nat’) and continental scale (‘cont’). National scale corresponds to Sweden were the focal landscape is located. Continental scale corresponds to a large part of Europe, see Fig. 1b in Dahlberg et al. (2019).
