The data set contains the analyzed filter data from the CAESAR 2014 campaign. Each 3-day filter was analyzed using EC/OC and IC analysis. The chemical composition of particles was analyzed with respect to the following components: OC (organic carbon), EC (elemental carbon), TC (total carbon), Fluoride, MSA, Pyruvate, Chloride, Nitrate, Sulphate, Oxalate, Sodium, Ammonium, Potassium, Magnesium, and Calcium. File type: xlsx. More information can be found in the corresponding paper by Franke et al. (2017, Tellus B).
The Cloud and Aerosol Experiment Åre 2014 (CAESAR 2014) was a campaign dedicated to the study of aerosols and clouds at a mountaintop station at Åre, Sweden, at 1250 m a.s.l. The campaign was organized by the Department of Environmental Science and Analytical Chemistry (ACES) at Stockholm University. External and international partners were the Finish Meteorological Institute (FMI, Finland), the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI, Switzerland), Droplet Measurement Technologies (DMT, USA), and the University of Hertfordshire (UK).
