Table S1 contains the original porewater nutrient and Fe data from all SWERUS-C3 stations that are included in this study and are used to calibrate and verify the model. Table S2 gives the boundary conditions, the modeling depths and coefficients of diffusion, bioturbation and bioirrigation for each modelled station. These two table provide full information for reproducing the results of our study. ###### Table S1 Original porewater concentrations of DSi, NH₄, PO₄ and Fe2+ (µM) in sediments of the SWERUS-C3 stations included in this study. The nutrients were analyzed by a QuAAtro flow injection analyzer and Fe was measured by ICP-OES with analytical precision better than 5%. ###### Table S2 Boundary conditions and the coefficients used by the reaction transport model. The model was run many times for each station until the best fit of the model outputs onto the measured profiles was achieved. ###### Supporting table Boundary conditions for porewater modelling File type: Excel worksheet 2019 Information about the [SWERUS-C3 expedition](https://polarforskningsportalen.se/en/arctic/expeditions/swerus-c3) is available from the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat.
