ACES seminar | Daniel S. Goll

Coupled cycles of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus

by Daniel S. Goll
Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement (LSCE), Paris, France

Time: 24 January 2019, 13h00
Venue: Ahlmannsalen, Geoscience building

It is very likely, based on experimental results and modelling, that nutrient shortage will limit the effect of rising atmospheric CO2 on future land carbon sinks (IPCCAR5). While there is high confidence that nitrogen will limit carbon storage on land, the role of phosphorus is more uncertain. I will present my work which aims at shedding light upon the role of phosphorus for land carbon storage.
