Roll up with iceberg picture

The Bolin Days will take place in a COVID-19- adjusted format, meaning live stream from Aula Magna for participants and with the possibility to participate in person at Aula Magna for speakers.

The Bolin Days is our annual conference where new climate science results are presented and we meet each other to exchange ideas, share our experience and find new inspiration. We welcome you to cross-disciplinary sessions organized by our Research Area leaders. You will have the opportunity to meet our External Advisory Group, there will be a virtual poster exhibition and as usual, a poster competition for PhD students.

Call for posters

The Bolin Days 2020 will have its traditional poster exhibition, this year in a virtual format. This is the perfect opportunity to communicate your research and to practice making posters for future large research conferences.

Poster competition for PhDs

This annual competition rewards the three most appreciated posters with research money, set by the attendee’s votes.

  • 1st place: 20 000 SEK
  • 2nd place: 10 000 SEK
  • 3rd place: 5 000 SEK

A way to enhance your poster is to do a 2-minute PICO presentation, whether you are participating in the competition or not. For this year, all presentations need to be prerecorded. You can record your presentation at home, with your cellphone or other equipment.

For PhD Students who participate in the competition, we offer the opportunity to record your presentation together with Mediaproduktion, a Stockholm University service unit, on November 10.
Please register to participate in the competition and note if you like to record your presentation with Medieproduktion.
