Using an optical single-particle instrument we measured the particle concentration of coarse-mode aerosol (optical diameters larger than 0.8 µm) within cloud residuals at the Zeppelin Observatory, Svalbard, from June 2019 to January 2021.
The data set provides insights on the relationship between fluorescent primary biological aerosol particles (PBAP) and ice or cloud nucleating particles (CCN/INP) in low-level Arctic clouds and their possible impact on the cloud phase.
Using ultra-violet laser-induced fluorescence, we categorized these particles into non-fluorescent, fluorescent, highly-fluorescent and fluorescent primary biological aerosol particles (PBAP). PBAP account for particles such as bacteria, fungal spores or other plant debris.

Data description
The data consists of one .csv file zeppelin-freitas-2023-bioclouds-1.csv
containing all the resampled data per cloud event. Each cloud event is identified by the index column (column 0) and by their mid time point (between start and end). Each column represents one averaged parameter for the cloud event.
