Holocene plant macrofossil and geochemical data from permafrost peatlands in Tavvavuoma, Sweden

This dataset contains detailed information on plant macrofossils, bulk density, loss on ignition, and carbon and nitrogen content at six permafrost peatland sites in northern Sweden. The profiles were collected 2007-2015. Basal peat layers were radiocarbon dated to 10 000-6000 cal yr BP. The aim of this study was to increase our knowledge of Holocene peatland development and permafrost history in subarctic peatlands in northern Fennoscandia.

Data description

The dataset consists of two excel-files; one with plant macrofossil percentages and counts and one containing information on bulk density, organic matter, C and N content.
