Emitted bubble, methane (CH₄) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) at water surface were measured by an automatic bubble counter (ABC) equipped with a pressure sensor and an automatic floating chamber (AFC) equipped with a CH₄ and a CO₂ sensor.
The study was conducted on the lake surface in summer of 2015.
The data, including date time stamp and sensor signals which were logged in an AFC-ABC system, were collected to demonstrate system functions for automated online gas emission measurements in aquatic environments.

Data description
The data are included in three preprocessed csv files to support the graphs in the article by Thanh Duc (2020). The sensor signals were logged every minute in a 2.4 GHz digimesh wireless network. ABC data columns (in two files having name structure *P_bubble_trap_table*.csv) are at format:
- Datetime (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm)
- Battery (D.DD)
- Pressure (D.DDDD)
AFC data columns in 20150911_Figure6_datateble.csv are at format:
- Date (YYmmDD)
- Time (HHMM)
- Timenum (conveted in Matlab from Time)
- Datenum (conveted in Matlab from Date and Time)
- DOY (DDD)
- Battery (DD.DD)
- Check_chamber (1/0) indicates chamber close/open
- Control_sw (1/0) indicates control switch on/off
- Pump_AFC (1/0) indicates pump for AFC on/off
- Pump_ABC (1/0) indicates pump for ABC on/off
- Baseline_ok (1/0) indicates background pressure signal in the bubble trap of the ABC.
- Sample (D) indicates which sample vial that the AFC will collect into.
- Sys_state (DDDDDD) is a raw data of system status.
- Sensorbox_flag (1/0) indicated the close/open state of sensor box for ABC.
- I2C2_CO2 (DDDD): CO2 concentration in the AFC
- I2C2_Temp (DD.DD): Temperature in the AFC
- I2C2-RH (DD.DD): Relative humidity in the AFC
- CH4sens (D.DDDD): CH4 sensor signal in mV.
