This dataset contains measurements of planktonic foraminifera from the water column, collected during the Synoptic Arctic Survey (SAS) expedition to the central Arctic Ocean with the Swedish icebreaker Oden from late July to mid September 2021.
The data was collected using a multinet, which samples discrete intervals of the water column. The dataset contains counts of the sampled species Neogloboquadrina pachyderma and Turborotalia quinqueloba. The dataset also reports the maximum diameter data of living foraminifera.
The morphometric data was generated using automatic extraction of morphometric data from photographs obtained with a microscope. Extraction was done using the software Automorph.
