Dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations and its optical properties in the Laptev and East Siberian Seas 2003–2011

This dataset was compiled for a study that aims to assess spatial and interannual distributions of chromophoric dissolved organic matter in the Laptev and East Sibeiran Sea surface waters. To this end, data from a set of expeditions 2003-2011 was generated for dissolved organic carbon (DOC), colored (chromophoric) fraction of dissolved organic matter (CDOM), temperature, salinity, and absorbance, spectral properties and optically-derived estimates of dissolved lignin.
