Hans W. Linderholm
This is a collection of Fennoscandian proxy data based on multi-proxy sedimentary records expected to reflect the moisture and drought conditions on millennial to shorter timescales presented as a part of dataset for reconstructing the Arctic hydroclimate variability during the last 2000 years. The dataset includes five data series originating from two sites in Sweden and three in Finland.

The dataset is included in one xslx file containing one tab with information and four tabs with data. References to original papers describing data from the different sites are provided in the xlsx file.
Comments
Data series 1: Backsjömyren (Jämtland, Central Sweden). Location: (62.68° N, 14.53° E). Hydroclimate proxy: Humification index, based on absorbance data from peat samples. Date type: Calibrated ¹⁴C years.
Data series 2: Stömyren (Dalarna, Central Sweden). Location: (60.38° N, 15.27° E). Hydroclimate proxy: Humification index, based on absorbance data from peat samples. Date type: Calibrated ¹⁴C years.
Data series 3: Kontolanrahka (SW Finland). Location: (60.78° N, 22.78° E). Hydroclimate proxy: Water table depth difference from the inferred mean water-table, of a raised bog based on a plant macrofossil calibration model. Date type: Calibrated ¹⁴C years.
Data series 4: SE Finland (lake). Location: (61.90°-62.03° N, 28.83°-29.17° E). Hydroclimate proxy: Regional depositional history, i.e. replication, of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) trees recovered from eight lakes. Date type: Year AD, dated by means of dendrochronology.
Data series 5: SE Finland (peatland). Location: (61.80° N, 29.75° E). Hydroclimate proxy: Local depositional history, i.e. replication, of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) trees recovered from one peatland site. Date type: Year AD, dated by means of dendrochronology.
