Sediment properties of Beaufort Sea sediment cores PCB09 and PCB11 — foraminifera counts and biomarkers
Julie Lattaud, Madeleine Santos, Lisa Bröder, Ivan Hernandez, Matt O'Regan
This dataset includes sediment properties (TOC, d13C), foraminifera counts, biomarker concentration and biomarker proxies of two sediment cores, PCB09 and PCB11 collected in 2021.
Biomarker and foraminifera counts can be used to trace sea-ice cover, temperature and environmental parameters during the Holocene.
The two cores were retrieved during the PeCaBeau cruise, part of leg 4 of the 2021 AMD2104 expedition. Both cores cover the last 9 to 13 ka.
