Research data support at the Bolin Centre

How to get a DOI

Each dataset and source code published in the Bolin Centre Database is assigned a unique DOI. If a dataset has more than one version, each version will have its own DOI.

To publish your data, please follow the four steps described below.

The working process from the submission of your data to the final publishing involves communication with us. Depending on the complexity of the work, this process may take between one day to some weeks.

1. Sign in

Sign in using your ORCiD account.

2. Provide your data and metadata

Submit information about your dataset, and upload your data files, by using our Data contribution form.

3. Get feedback

Write an email to us at bolindata@su.se when you have submitted your data and metadata, or if you have questions.

We will then review the content of your dataset and help you to improve the quality so that future users will understand.

4. Publish

When we agree that your dataset is ready for being published, we will approve it and you will be asked to sign a publishing agreement.

You can then publish your dataset by yourself when you want.
