Data from expedition OATRC, Arctic Ocean, 2013

The OATRC (Oden Arctic Technology Research Cruise) 2013 expedition was carried out during summer 2013 in Arctic Ocean waters northeast of Greenland.

With the Swedish icebreaker Oden serving as the research platform, a range of scientific investigations were made. Data provided in the database here comprise processed multibeam bathymetry.

The expedition started and ended in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and lasted from August 19 to September 3, 2013.

Comments

The expedition was carried out by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in collaboration with the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat. OATRC 2013 was a project associated with the Sustainable Arctic Marine and Coastal Technology (SAMCoT) centre, initiated by the Research Council of Norway and hosted by NTNU. OATRC 2013 was a follow-up to the OATRC 2012 expedition.
